Important Message About COVID-19

As COVID-19 continues to impact our community, we want to connect with you to let you know that Olympic Health & Sports Therapy is here for your therapeutic needs.  As of June 29th the office is back to it's normal hours of operation.

We continue to take our guidance from the CDC, which recommends regular cleaning as well as wearing masks to help prevent any potential spread of the virus.  We clean the office continuously throughout the days we are open, focusing on surfaces like door handles, checkout counters, treatment tables, rehab and exercise area/equipment, and treatment tools. We also provide alcohol-based hand sanitizers for use by employees and patients.

 

As more information becomes available to us and our community regarding the current public health challenge, we continue to adjust our office policies to insure the safety of our patients and staff, and to comply with state and federal guidelines. To that end, we are implement the following changes:

  • All patients are required to wear a mask or some type of facial covering.

  • We are staggering patient appointments in order to keep office capacity to a minimum. Please be flexible when calling to schedule your treatment.

  • We will observe "Physical Distancing" in the reception and exercise areas.

 

If you are currently experiencing any of the following symptoms (Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus) Please call to cancel your appointment.

 

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fever

  • Chills

  • Muscle pain

  • Sore throat

  • New loss of taste or smell

 

COVID-19 affects different people in different ways. Infected people have had a wide range of symptoms reported – from mild symptoms to severe illness.

 

Please contact your primary care physician, urgent care center or local government hotline to report that you may need to be tested for Covid-19. Then please call our office to cancel or reschedule your appointments. We will not charge for cancelled appointments during this time.

Additionally - If you have been diagnosed with Coronavirus (COVID-19), Influenza (Flu type A or B) and have visited our office within the last 14 days please notify us immediately.

We plan to maintain our office hours based on state and CDC guidelines for the safety and benefit of your health and the health of our staff.  We appreciate your patience during this trying time.  Please contact the office should you have any questions.
